There are two things I hold closest to my heart: mental health and animals. Years ago, I set
out to find ways to bring these two passions together. Over time, I’ve witnessed the
incredible power of emotional support animals (ESAs) to heal, comfort, and transform
lives. For me, this isn’t just work—it’s a deeply personal mission.
“For me this isn’t just work – it’s a deeply personal mission.”
For the past decade, I’ve been dedicated to keeping people connected with their beloved furry companions. I’ve always believed in the magic of the human-animal bond and the profound impact pets have on our emotional well-being. Helping people stay united with their pets—whether through ESA letters, animal therapy, or just spreading awareness—has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life.
Having evaluated hundreds of individuals to see if they qualify for an emotional support animal and worked with several major online ESA providers, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and everything in between. My experience has given me a clear perspective on what makes an ESA service truly exceptional. That’s why I feel confident sharing my honest recommendations with you.
“My experience has given me a clear perspective on what makes an ESA service truly exceptional.”
But here’s something that’s been bothering me. Over the last few years, I’ve watched as some of the biggest ESA companies steadily raised their prices. Today, it’s common to see services charging $169 or more for a simple ESA letter. To me, that feels wrong—almost exploitative. Getting the support you need to stay with your pet shouldn’t break the bank.
I’m here to cut through the noise and help you find a service that values your needs, your mental health, and your wallet. You—and your furry friend—deserve nothing less.
As a Licensed Mental Health Professional and practicing therapist, I’ve worked with several ESA letter companies over the years. For every consultation I provide, I typically earn about $30. That means these companies are making around $140-$150 on every letter they sell. Honestly, it’s frustrating to see such high markups, especially knowing how critical and life-changing these letters can be for people.
A few months ago, I came across an ad for a new ESA letter company called Pets52. Their message instantly caught my attention
“Seeking a licensed mental health care professional who wants to help make ESA letter evaluations affordable and accessible to everyone”.
I felt an immediate connection to their mission. Within days of applying, I found myself working with a team that shares my passion for making emotional support animals accessible to those who need them most. Pets52 doesn’t charge exorbitant prices, and while I earn a bit less per consultation, I know I’m contributing to something bigger—helping more people gain access to the ESA letters they deserve.
